Release of Liability

By signing this document, I acknowledge my voluntary participation in The Gilded Chapter, hosted by Magnolia Literary Society.

Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that attendance at this private reading retreat is voluntary. I understand that participation may involve inherent risks, including physical injury, illness, accidents, and damage to or loss of personal property.

Liability Disclaimer

I acknowledge that Magnolia Literary Society, its organizers, hosts, and coordinators are not responsible for personal injuries, medical emergencies, accidents, illnesses, or property damage or loss arising from my participation, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.

Release and Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, I agree to release and hold harmless Magnolia Literary Society, its organizers, hosts, and coordinators from claims arising from my participation in the retreat.

Property & Venue Care

I accept financial responsibility for physical damage I cause to the retreat venue, its furnishings, or the personal belongings of other guests, subject to applicable law.

Separate Media Consent

During The Gilded Chapter, Magnolia Literary Society may capture photographs or videos for promotional, archival, or marketing purposes.

Guests may choose whether to authorize the use of identifiable images or recordings featuring them.
